Traveling with Kids

As the parents of three small kids, we understand how important and sometimes difficult it can be to entertain your kids, especially while traveling, that's why we started 4 Kids 2 Go. Get to the airport early, that way you can get through the lines at the counter and security, then give your kids a chance to run around and explore before having to sit still for hours. My husband and I take turns watching the carry on bags while the other takes the kids on a walk around the gate to check out the airplanes. We also let them pick out a special treat that they can not have until they are settled on the plane. This way by the time we do get on the plane, they are ready for a rest, and their special treat.

Don't be the first to board the plane, be the last. Some airlines do give families traveling with small children the option to board first, but we have found that all that does is add an extra half hour to your trip, more time your kids have to sit still. We try and be the last ones on the plane, that way by the time we are settled, the plane is ready to go.
